Right out of the gate, I must say that even the developers of this tech notes the limitations of what they’ve designed. It’s too small, it doesn’t work well in brightly lite places, as well as some other issues.
However, this concept is in development. What they’ve done, here, is prove it can be done. Making it better will only take time.
The real question is,
Are double-sided transparent mobile touchscreens useful?

I believe it is great initial technology, as it continues developing to become more practical and sophisticated. As the technology advances, its applications will advance as well. I suspect this will be the stepping stone leading to true, fully functioning, three-dimensional projection technology which will have a multitude of useful applications.
