Yes, CakePHP, Ruby on Rails, and ASP.NET MVC are a few of the major players in the web application development frameworks, but there is always room for more.
Apparently, someone decided to get back to basics and decided to create an MVC framework based on DOS. Seriously!
Check out DOS On Dope:
DOS On Dope works exactly like the major frameworks – you initialize the models, views, controllers, and then begin to fill in the function skeletons in order to bring your project to life.
The entire framework is built from the ground up using batch files. Then again, would you expect anything less from something inspired by DOS?
Hilarious – I definitely respect the effort here. Check out more about DOS On Dope here.
Alright, I’m off – gotta get to work on porting all of the 8BIT properties over to DoD this afternoon.
