I hear there are some insane deals on the Kindle for Black Friday and Cyber Monday but I’m still not going to get one! I simply don’t have any use for it, especially when I can get a similar (or superior) experience on my iPad.
But, if I did get a Kindle I’d get the DODOcase for it, which might be the slickest case I’ve seen so far.
Will you be buying yourself (or someone else) a Kindle this Holiday Season?

Not to sound like a fuddy duddy, buuuuuut……
I got the DODOcase for my iPad some time ago & I cannot recommend it at all because of quality concerns. My beef is twofold. One, the quality of the bamboo frame is sub par as it warps depending on weather conditions (their words) so the iPad does not sit flush in the frame (their solve is to use a heavy book as a weight to flatten it). Secondly and the biggest gripe shared by many others (see their Facebook page), is the rubber corner pads used to keep the iPad in the (warped) bamboo frame. The adhesive is poor so the pads are moving with normal use then they don’t stick at all. I’ve received multiple replacement pads & all wear the same. Super glue doesn’t work (is it the bamboo?). I’ve resolved to not have any bumpers and it seems to hold ok, though not really secure.
Other than those 2 glaring problems, I love the “booky-ness” of it and it’s still a better look than the BOOK (http://www.nedrelow.com/bookforipad.html).
A possible alternative to the DODOcase for me is the Portenzo case (http://shop.portenzo.com/). I’ve good better reviews on this case but I’m still feeling the burn from the DODOcase so I’m still a little hesitant on dropping coin on it.
