Bands and music video producers come up with great ideas for doing music videos all the time, but David Crowder took it to the next level. They just recently released their “Christmas Card” music video and with the help of 4,000 fans in the audience, they have an amazing video.
They were asked to play at the National Youth Workers Convention, a convention for youth workers in Atlanta, and the band asked 4,000 youth workers to take out their phones and press record. Below is the video that came as a result of those videos, including a great in-the-moment photo pan of the band at the end.

Glad you liked it.

Bon Jovi did it back in the day for a music video, except they didn’t have cell phones. They handed out video cameras to everyone in the audience… Much cheaper to do now that cell phones are so redi
Jeremy Smith says
Agreed!

Crowder does it again with some good/creative video work (the other one being shine). Awesome idea! I wander how they got all the video from crowd?
Jeremy Smith says
I believe that they sent it into the guy who ended up creating the video.
