This video of a breakdancers being used for advertising fodder is not just cool looking but also extremely significant since bboying wasn’t always seen as marketable.
But culture has changed so dramatically that hip hop is now and extremely marketable commodity and it’s cool to be associated with that culture (or sub-culture to some). I know from first hand experience the shift of the electronic culture into using hip hop as a viable play in advertising and it was a gigantic shift of thinking.
I have seen the same thing happen in web technology as well; culture impacts technology (and vice versa). The rise of communication channels, especially in video, have championed the cause of it’s pornographic-like use in almost every sphere of online.
In other words (to clear the thoughts of those that didn’t get my reference), video is a big thing and is being used a lot.
Of course, this is directly impacting the Church globally, and this is exciting.
What other changes culturally are you seeing that’s impacting the way the Church is leveraging technology?

I've been hoping that Social Networking channels like FB and Twitter get more church staff use. Want to be "in tune" with the culture, get involved in those very vocal and used channels.
