Have you ever imagined seeing Christmas songs played by a band of toy instruments?
Imagine no more!
This is the “Toy Piano Opener” for North Point Ministries’ Christmas open.
Fun. Creative. Perfect for this Christmas Eve!

Oh my word!! So funny. That was just as good as the iBand from last year. I think that is a great thing to do to build buzz & get people in the church early!

Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for posting this, Eric! We had a lot of fun putting it together.
One small note, it was our Pre-Service feature on December 4 – not Christmas Eve.
Each week in December we had a different, usually humorous (or at least engaging) 8-10 minute Pre-service segment.
The second week was a pre-existing rock band of middle-schoolers (most of whom happened to kids of some of our worship leaders & musicians) that tore the roof off the place!
The third week was a re-occurring cheesy lounge singer character we’ve used in the past that had his own Bing Crosby style live Christmas show, featuring a good natured Worship Leader and some well known KidStuf characters. Schmultz out tha wazoo. So bad and cheesy, that it was good. And that was the point 😉
Finally, Christmas Eve we didn’t do any extra-curricular Pre-service stuff, but rolled a couple videos that gave some general info (please scoot in, our mission, etc.), and then humorously set up the video for the Opener.
Throughout the year, our Media team produces the 10B4 – a 6-10 minute collection of video announcements & vignettes tied together with a video host that play before each service. They take a month off in the summer for vacations and fall prep, and they take Decmember off to create content for Christmas and do Spring prep.
That leaves a 3-4 week vacuum for us to fill the Pre-Service with fun & engaging music. In the Summer, it’s familiar, feel good songs, and in December it is, well, familiar feel good songs – with a memorable twist ;).
Thanks!
Reid
