When it comes to web application development, there is no shortage of cross-platform libraries, utilities and other software for aiding in development.
The thing is, if you discover a framework halfway through a project, you’ve gotta make the decision of whether or not to retrofit your code into said framework.
But as far as frameworks go, Jo is a bit different.
From the outset, Jo is a framework for creating applications. Yes, it’s compatible with a number of other current popular libraries so it won’t necessarily break your existing suite of tools, but it uses HTML5 as a foundation for its stack.

This looks promising. Too bad both IE and FF don’t have the chops to handle it. I’ve never made a mobile app before but I might use this if I did.

Seriously – as much innovation as multiple browsers bring, it’s hard to find something that cuts across them.
But from a mobile standpoint, Jo is definitely something to keep on file.
