I just want to start by giving a shout out to the people who send me things to put into the Snack Pack. I love it when people send me things either by sending it in a DM or by sharing it with everyone in the ChurchMag FB Group.
Blessing shared Why as Christians we need to read widely—and deeply and it’s a really good post. My favorite quote from it was this:
It is good to read people we disagree with, who challenge our beliefs or who simply get under our skin. Oftentimes we find that the people on the other side of a hot-button issue are motivated by good reasoning and deeply held values. They are not the enemy.
Michael Liskey in the FB Group shared the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker teaser and I was excited because I hadn’t seen it yet.
Delight-Inducing Augmented Reality Videos by Vernon James Manlapaz Combine Everyday Scenery with Fantastical Interlopers and my favorite has to be the people running from a giant donut.
This New Yorker Cartoon was shared with me by Blessing:
This image and caption are so, so good. Dare to be different.

I had never thought of this before.
On Easter, I love to think of Mary Magdalene in those precious few morning hours between seeing the risen Jesus and telling the disciples. She was, for a brief, blessed era, the entirety of the Church in the whole world.
