We’ve been using CCB for over a year. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely a good tool. We jumped ahead of ourselves, which has caused some problems. I think it’s important that – with any CMS – to take it slow. CCB seems like the wonder tool, but it’s not. It does what it does well, and they always improve it and are open to suggestions.
Finally, it looks like this article is a bit outdated (at least the screenshots). CCB launched their Multisite solution before Christmas, and it’s awesome. We had low expectations, but they totally wowed us when we got to see a demo!!

Eric,
I think you’re right, it’s important to remember that “wonder tools” can only do so much.
