That was incredible, and the sound quality wasn’t too bad.
7 iPhone 4’s were used to capture this worship set, one mounted to a30′ Jib. No color or grading has been done and audio is captured by one of the camera positions.

Really amazing quality from phones. It’s probably a bit too nit picky, but I would’ve loved some crazy angles, being that they are iPhones, they can go places normal cameras can’t. Not many close ups.
See, nit picky. I liked it, really.

As Darth Vader would say, “Impressive.”

Wow, very cool….

That’s incredible. I’ve tried some filming with the iPhone 4, looking forward to more opportunities.

It looked like they mounted the iPhone 4’s on top of the big mama cameras? Pretty cool video, this is especially encouraging since we’re working on developing budget-but-quality videos…Looking at the Kodak Zi8 right now.

Kodak Zi8 is a bargain, especially now that it’s dropped to about $120. This ‘7 iPhones’ video is impressive, but the Zi8 has the advantages of having tripod threads, external mic support, memory card support, and an ultra-low price by comparison.
Kyle Reed says
That was really impressive.

So hip!

If I wanted to create video podcasts of a sermon and I have an iphone, a macbook pro, and a small soundboard (with a wireless mic). What software or video editing programs or other hardware would you recommend to create a high def podcast? Would I be able to use sound from the board and video from the iphone? Or should I just let the iphone do it all?
Phillip Gibb says
very very cool, I love it. A great example of not letting the limits of technology limit your creativity.
You know; we don’t have the budget for 7 hardcore HD cameras so we can’t do it or how on earth do you film a worship service with an iPhone. No, just borrow some and get going
