Did you know that most ministries and churches don’t even have a website? Fascinating but true.
In addition, for those churches that are just beyond the we-don’t-have-a-website stage there are tons of sites that aren’t database-driven or using a Content Management System.
And for those that aren’t it can be difficult to update content without having to spend a lot of dollars going back to web designer or having your deacon’s 12-year old son do it on the weekends.
Wouldn’t it be great if there was something that could help? Apparently there is…
Buildor/Lite is a web application that can help you manage and edit text/images right through your browser. Watch this video to see how easily it can be done:
Pretty neat, huh?
For many of you this won’t be needed but I’m sure all of you know someone or another organization who could use something like this.
Pass it on.

John,
I recently found the following site that works really well. It allows developers (or site owners) to tag elements as editable. This allows you to assign certain people to edit certain pages and only specific regions of the page. Works great! Free for up to 3 sites and a great tool for developers to offer clients!

I dig that, reminds me of cushycms.com and a few other ones I have seen.

Definitely excited about Buildor and SurrealCMS… I wasn’t really looking for either but this will be a great way to help churches maintain what they already have if they aren’t ready for a CMS installation! Yip diddy. Great stuff from ChurchCrunch as ALWAYS.

This is definitely a useful: “hey unpaid friend, here’s a website, here’s Buildor, love ya.” type of resource. Thanks.
