Great news for those of you who oversee the music side of things at your church, you can now get hold of a new CCLI rehearsal license which will allow you a lot more flexibility when it comes to sharing music with your musicians.
The new CCLI license will allow worship leaders to distribute copies of songs from all of the labels that are signed up with CCLI to musicians in their church for them to listen to and get to know the songs.
I think that this is a great step forward and is going to be a huge help to many churches who have been waiting years for this sort of license.
For more information please visit the CCLI website.
Will your church be signing up? Let us know in the comments below.

Yes, I will get this license for our church. In the past month I have picked up three other licenses in addition to our regular CCLI license and Song Select. I believe very strongly in making sure songwriters are getting the royalties that they deserve. It is definitely a challenging time for record companies as music moves to a primarily digital distribution. With the addition of resources such as planningcenteronline.com and others, the industry is trying to catch up with technology and figure out how to recoup some of the money that is being lost. I understand all of this while at the same time want to be careful that we don’t get “license happy”. I do believe this is a fair and legitimate license and will gladly pay the fees. What I am saving as a music department in time and raw costs of cd duplication, etc is more than fair.

That is pretty cool i thought you could already do that? Maybe our church was just breaking the law :O. on another note the ccli video team did a great job on that chroma key.
