Our mobile devices are just as much platforms for development as they are for communication.
The iPhone is a seriously impressive feat of engineering and, from a development perspective, I think we’ve yet to really see what can be done with enough creativity (and smarts!).
Biolab Disaster is one of those projects that is really showcasing what can be done with proper software engineering…

- Biolab Disaster is running in its own process (not in the browser!)
- The game is built using the JavaScriptCore Framework
- The Canvas API has been reimplemented with OpenGL-ES
