It’s been a while, hasn’t it?
Well, it was my fault. I forgot to post it. The last one was a few weeks back.
Whoops.
But, we’re back!
You now have 2 options when asking the 8BIT Team a question:
- You can either ask a question and get a response via the comment section below.
- Or, you can ask a question and request it be answered via rich media (audio, video, etc). You can even ask a specific member of the team, if you’d like.
It’s been fun answering your questions via the 8BIT Podcast! Keep them coming!

John, I notice that there are certain words/phrases linked within your comments on TentBlogger. Are you using a plugin for that and if so what is your goal?
Hope I can ask a question about your other blog. If not I apologize.
John Saddington says
david,
yes, go ahead and ask that on tentblogger! i’ve been asked before and i’ll get that one answered!
David Knapp says
Look forward to it. Thanks!

Here’s a question, I am looking at my webmaster tools and I keep seeing the word impressions.
What are Impressions?
John Saddington says
can you show me a screenshot? need to know the context.
Jared Erickson says
usually impressions are the same as “views” like if you have a rotating ad banner.. the page may be viewed 300 times. but that ad in rotation may have only 175 impressions. But like John said, not sure what context it’s in.

It seems that most (all?) of your blogs in the network do not use the mobile iPhone theme. Was curious as to why. Is it because it doesn’t show ads?
John Saddington says
because there’s not a single one that i like… yet. i think we’re going to create one ourselves.
Eric says
Is there a good prayer wall for wordpress or stand alone? our senior pastor wants one on the website. Also we are looking at a good podcast management system.
John Saddington says

we use that!

What does “Concurrent Domain Use” actually mean?
Reason for asking… I am designing a website for my friend and I want to know if I can use my license to build it on Standard Theme, or if she needs to buy her own license. She doesn’t want to spend more money, so right now it is built on a free theme that’s kind of slow.
John Saddington says
you can use it on other sites that you own.
Tony says
cool. I’ll have to try to convince here to spend some $ then.
