Ok. Admit it folks: Are you signed up and using Apples new Musical Social Network, Ping?
I said “Yes” to the “Turn on Ping” button in my iTunes and I’m a bit disappointed (although I’m not exactly sure what I was expecting.
I have no friends currently, so it looks a bit “bare”.
Sweet. I look like a complete loser with no friends.
Convince me that I’m missing out on something please.
Actually, scratch that. I’m not interested in sharing my musical tastes in Polka…

Signed up, yes, checked it in the past 2 weeks? no.
It’s why large companies can’t roll out networks that require social mesh. (Buzz, Wave, Ping, Microsoft products). It isn’t that people don’t want to bite, they simply can’t.

I’m hardly in iTunes anymore (Pandora is way too convenient). Haven’t even turned on Ping. Then again, I wasn’t much into the music social networking scene to begin with. I think it’s because I don’t want other people to know I own an exorbitant amount of soundtracks. 🙂

I’ll be your friend John! …lol
I don’t use Itunes much either, but I go through phases when it seems like I’m more plugged in. Maybe it’s time to get connected again. Always good to be up to date on music, it can carry such a powerful message (good or bad). Will definitely look into it and see if we can make it less bare!
Peace!
