I knew that Apple was doing great but I wasn’t aware that they were doing that amazing!
They are close to becoming on top of the S&P500 in terms of market cap. Since I can barely keep my checkbook straight, I Googled what that meant:
Market capitalization/capitalisation (often market cap) is a measurement of size of a business enterprise (corporation) equal to the share price times the number of shares outstanding (shares that have been authorized, issued, and purchased by investors) of a public company.
Ah. Just as confused.

Man, I wish I had invested in it when it was $1. Wouldn’t that be nice? Then I wouldn’t need to be a full time blogger…

As I understand it, a very simple way to think of market cap is how much money it would take to buy every share and own the whole company outright. (Perhaps a little too simplistic, but that is the concept.) In the case of Apple, it would take about $270 Billion to own Jobs & Co.
