Apparently I’ve been under a rock.
A large, anti-geek rock that has prevented me from this common fact of geek-dom.
If you didn’t not know that Mark Hamill is the voice of The Joker from Batman: The Animated Series, let me lift this rock for you as it was done for me.
Now that everyone knows, take a look at this clip of Mark Hamill doing a short dialogue between Luke Skywalker and The Joker whereby The Joker tells Luke that he’s his father:
Yup.
It’s true.
Did you know this?
And if so, why didn’t you tell me!?! đŸ˜›
Curtis says
Shameful Eric. Hand over your geek cred card. Seriously though I’ve known that since the show was first airing episodes only because I’m that guy that is curious who does what voice from the ending credits. I’ve gotten pretty good at spotting actors voices now, but I conceed that Hamill’s portrayal is among the most difficult to depict. Though it is arguably my favorite portrayal of any character in any medium.

Shameful, I know. đŸ˜‰

Definitely have to hand in the geek card for that one! And I agree with Curtis, Hamiill’s Joker is one of the best of any, ever. The longevity alone is amazing! He played Joker in the various DC Animated shows and, lest we forget, sent us out with a bang in the Arkham games.
Eric Dye says
I am so ashamed.
