New Years resolutions are funny to me.
They hardly ever turn out, and by the time you’re done scrambling to catch-up from all the holiday busyness, you’re halfway to failure.
But we carry on, and year after year we make them. I only know of one time I made a resolution that I followed through with, and in the end, it never really amounted to what I thought it would.
So why do we make these year after year?
It feels good.
Like fresh fallen snow, the new year is inviting and un-treed upon. It’s like a blank canvas begging for us to create something amazing. Even as I type this, I am extremely excited for what 2014 has to hold for my family, ChurchMag, Finding Justice and Live Theme.
How about you?
New Years resolutions can be a powerful agent of change. Like a giant reset button and a good blowing on a NES cartridge, you’re all ready to take on a new challenge.
So what if we harnessed this power and used this clean slate feeling to make a dynamic change that could change our lives forever?
Yeah. I would do it.
So let me propose this challenge to you. I know it’s already a few days into the New Year, but that’s alright. I doubt you’ve trended very far into the fresh laid snow of 2014.
How about no pornography in 2014?
Are you game?
There’s no better time press start than right now.
