There are a number of obvious reasons that a church or ministry should broadcast their services online, but have you considered some of the less obvious?
I was sorting through some old media files when I found a couple videos that I took in my old condo where we broadcast North Point’s online service via a projector on one of our walls – that’s the first thing that one can do:

Not going to find much of that in the pews and/or chairs at your church, right?
Broadcasting your services online gives your audience the opportunity to use their expensive equipment as well as let them dance their butts off without embarassment.

I love the idea of having a projection screen for an online service to invite friends and family over to attend church – at your home! Much less intimidating for people to come over to a friend’s house then meet them a church.
