Urban hacktivist. That’s what the French Florian Rivière calls himself.
His mission is to ‘reinvest and divert public space to allow citizens to reclaim their urban environment’. That may sound rather boring, but the way he does it is anything but.
He creates urban games, like this basketball basket made out of a a bicycle lock (pictured above).
Or a soccer target out of a billboard:
Or he creates a free library on a street corner:
But my favorite is a game he came up with: chaotic street soccer. Watch the fun these people have as they turn their busy city streets into a soccer field.
