Nathan Smith showed this to me last night: SASS (Style with Attitude). It makes your CSS3 more pretty by stripping out unnecesssary and repetitive calls. Variables! Get rid of curly-braces, semi-colons!
So, you could do something like this:
$blue = #369
And then do something like this:
.foo
background: lighten($blue, 10%)
Neato.
Another example might be… instead of typing out:
moz, -webkit, -o, -ms, -khtml prefixes.
You could just type:
.foo
@import border-radius(4px)
Sweet.
