You know what is the most infuriating, difficult and horrible thing to add to your application as a developer? Printing. I cannot think of anything worse.
So the next time you ask your developer if he’s going to add printing support to your app, realise that the grimace on his face means that he’d rather be keelhauled by a bunch of pirates than add printing capabilities to your application.

I made the switch to a network-connected laser at home a few years ago and have been very happy with the decision. The printer is more expensive than inkjet upfront, but over the long run it’s faster, cheaper, and easier than inkjet, and the toner cartridges last me forever.
