I’m experimenting with JS-Kit’s new commenting system ECHO. I’m going to be doing some tests to see what it’s all about, so if you see some weirdness well now you know.
I’ve also purchased the “Pro” edition ($12/year) to see how that rolls as well.
Since I’ve got “a lot of comments” on this blog it requires that I get them to do some of the importing of past comments.
Let me know your thoughts as well!

Hmm….i have no idea how this works….doesn’t seem to be very intuitive…
Rodlie says
Yeah….i don’t know…the intense debate system seems to be much more intuitive and easy to use. If you have to try to “figure” out how to make a comment, it’s a fail in my opinion. this to me is a fail.

so, does it let u set a profile and then chose how you want to login via a certain network?
Josh Wagner says
Looks interesting. Little complicated maybe… But then again I might just have to get used to it.

I commented earlier. What happened? Did it disappear?
Not sure that this is better than Intense Debate.
What do you think?

You know for all the fancy dancy commenting systems, I kinda miss the straightforward link that most of the people use to put linking to their blogs. Now you have to go to their profile, whichever commenting system it happens to be and then find their blog(s) or twitter profile. I feel like I am dealing with an abstraction of people rather than the actual person’s identity on the web….

Sorry John, I kinda wish you took it back to the original WordPress threaded commenting system. It loads faster and it puts the emphasis back on the actual conversation at hand. Keep the comments as comments and the forum, the forum – – don’t mix the two

good point. i’m not really liking this anyways.
