I was asked recently what I thought about privacy as it concerns blogs and blog content. I gave this person a few thoughts but I’d love to hear what the community here thinks about it.
Do you have any privacy policies, either for the business and/or you personally? Is this necessary? Are there a number of things assumed due to the medium?
Knock it out in the comments. If there’s enough one way I’ll craft something for the community to share.

I can honestly say I have never thought about it for my personal sites. For my movie site along with the church website I redid I have a few security plugins intact.

for starters, i think that common sense applies here first, right? don’t be stupid with what you put up?
secondly, up until a few weeks ago, i was obligated to really screen myself for content since i had a full-time employer. now, i can write whatever i want (so to speak).
third, i really am careful about family. i protect them, a lot.

I use two plugins from the same developer (but I can’t recall who):
AntiSpam Bee is my favorite spam checker for wordpress, I think it’s better than Askimet.
AntiVirus which checks my template files for any possible ways to screw up the site (like ways for people to make sql injections and the like).

err.
Wrong kind of security.
I don’t really give out any details. I mean I’ll tell people about projects, but they can’t really find anything about me anywhere.
