YouTube, the place you go to see the latest movie trailers, surf hours for cute puppies and military officers surprising their families, and Dude Perfect do more fun stuff. But YouTube also has a great platform for many churches. Have you looked to see what people are doing on there? It’s actually quite amazing how many Christian vloggers are out there as well as churches doing amazing things on YouTube.

If you need more encouragement to jump on the YouTube bandwagon, let me share some stats and tips with you from the infographic below.
- YouTube averages 4 billion views a day. Billion with a ‘b’, not an ‘m’.
- 61% of big businesses are using YouTube, and most of the time it is unique content that only highlights their brand but focuses on the culture of the business. Something churches do amazingly, like, every Sunday.
- Great tips for a YouTube channel include putting your church name in the channel name, add keywords, use keyword-rich titles in videos, make 30-60 second clips (straight from sermons!!!), update consistently and frequently, and share videos EVERYWHERE.
