The iPhone 4 releases on Thursday and the world is waiting in eager expectation.
There are several reasons to be excited for this release, and one in particular is the new camera that will be in the iPhone 4. The iPhone 4 camera boast 5 megapixels with LED flash and 5x digital zoom.
These are just a couple of the new features, but most amateur photographers are only as good as their filters and ability to edit the photos that they have taken.
Here are 5 iPhone Camera apps that will turn your photos into professional looking shots one click at a time.
1. Best Camera Ever
The Best Camera Ever app allows you to creatively edit and share your iPhone images with friends, facebook, twitter, or the interwebs. Providing numerous photo filters and effects, Best Camera Ever definitely lives up to its name in ease of use and quality of post-shot edit options.
2. CameraBag
The CameraBag app has up to 8 filters available to add to your shots. Why this app makes its way onto the list is its ability to also let you choose which camera type you want to shoot with.
3. iRetouch
iRetouch does exactly what its name says, it provides numerous options for retouching images.
4. Color Splash
Color Splash allows you to take a photo and convert it to black and white and then pick certain colors that you want to keep in the photo. A very quick and easy app to use to give your photos a great effect.
5. Old Booth
This is more of a fun app that allows you to take pictures back in the day and see what you would look like in the 60’s. Check out The Old Booth!
Hopefully these 5 apps will help you in your photog adventures and will provide some spice to all of your iPhone pics.

Good list. Just a slight correction. The first one is just called ‘The Best Camera’ not ‘Best Camera Ever.’ ‘The Best Camera’ comes from Chase Jarvis’s viewpoint that, ‘The best camera is the one you have with you.’
Kyle Reed says
good point Jay, you are right. I guess I just see it as the best camera ever.

“Just tap to turn your photos into gloriously unpredictable works of art, then tap again to change the look.”

My favorite iPhone photo app is called Darkroom Pro http://www.tuaw.com/2010/04/28/tuaws-daily-app-darkroom-pro/ — it was probably the first one to have a steady mode, and I think there are a few others that have that feature now. The photo from an iPhone is often a bit fuzzy, and with a steady mode, it can be crisp and clear — more than you’d ever think an iPhone could do! That’s worth so much more than all the filters and alternations these other apps do. IMHO.
