Half of the challenge of living as a developer is having to stay up-to-date with the state of modern programming languages, platforms, and applications around them.
And although we’ve all got a specific focus when it comes to our development stack, there are a few platforms that are beginning to cut across fields. And I think that developing projects for the web is one of those areas.
So here are five sites build around HTML5 that I’ve found useful.
- The HTML5 Pocketbook is essentially a pocket guide to HTML5 formatted for the web. Great for a quick reference.
- HTML5 Rocks was actually released by Google. It includes everything from general information on the language to some techniques and styles.
- HTML5 Laboratory is a cool site in that it showcases what HTML5 and JavaScript are currently capable of achieving. As browsers add more functionality, so does the site.
- HTML5 Doctor is an site managed by a team of developers. It provides rich information on syntax, style, and information.
