Church teams are only as good as their communication allows them to collaborate. For church tech teams, they have a whole set of online communication tools available to them that fit naturally with their mission. Improving your communicating skills with your church tech team requires more than just talking more. You need to use the right tools, listen well, and create an environment that promotes a sense of being able to talk.

Search engines are hard to crack. Everyone focuses on Google, but we really do not know the algorithm that they are using. People have done case studies, we have good ideas, and people share their “secrets” when they have success in ranking. That being said, Google is always changing it to prevent spammers and those gaming the system. Meanwhile, search engines like Bing are simply ignored in the search engine ranking discussions.

It’s beyond a doubt that social media is here to stay. As the top platforms battle for prominence the question for the Church is no longer if we should be present, but how we should be present.
From growing up in church, teaching Sunday school, facilitating Bible studies and leading 100+ volunteers I’ve seen a lot. With the advent of social media the local church has a greater capacity for community engagement and global impact.
