Last week we went step-by-step on how to Create a WordPress Church Events Page. We only scratched the surface of how deep WordPress can be as a CMS. Sure, WordPress is great for spinning blogs and putting together a basic website, but when it comes to more advanced functions, it’s tempting to start learning another CMS, dare I say, like Drupal (at least I didn’t say, Joomla!).
Instead of learning something completely new, it may be wiser to dig deeper in a CMS that you’re already familiar with. You begin to dive into the design and keep in close communication with your favorite (and only) client. You learn about the effects of miscommunication and that it happens no matter how many questions you ask. Finally, after more hours that you ever imagined, the site is finished and launched!
You’re very excited. 😀 After all, you launched it three days early.
Four weeks later, they still haven’t paid you.

I remember when you had to have multiple browsers open to view more than one webpage.
Tabs have been EPIC.
Can you imagine not having them anymore? How horrid would that be.
We are now using so many tabs, Firefox has built in a great new way to manage them, and I have several tabs in Chrome that I always keep pinned. With only a favicon viewable, using the favicon is a great way to gain a users attention for notifications and alerts.
This piece of JavaScript will do just that:
