SoChurch, the first true communication web application and service for ministries and churches, has been released into the wild with pre-registrations already gaining access to the platform and loading content.
Ben Forsberg, CEO, announced via the blog:
Right now, we have only allowed all those loyal customers who have pre-registered to get started, so that they have a little extra time setting up their accounts, getting familiar with the system, and enjoying the elbow room and new car smell.
Over the next few weeks, we will be rolling out invitations to select audiences, allowing more and more churches and ministries the opportunity to get in early, before we roll it out to the general public.
There’s even an opportunity for more discounts for new subscribers so you’ll want to follow the blog and @SoChurch for updates.

On more than a few occasions, I’ve promoted the Ruby language here on this blog. Aside from its technical capabilities, Ruby is a nice language and if you’ve never been exposed to the culture around this particular technology, you’re missing out.
