My brother recently shared this with me and I’m taking a serious look at it. Have any of you ever used 1Password?
I for one have about a million different passwords all over the place and this might be a really great solution.
With cloud technology you can access it anywhere, and it’s darn good looking to boot.
Thoughts?

How have you not heard of this?! It really is great when you need your cc info and such too.
I use it a thousand times a day. Once you go 1Password you never go back. Well, that didn’t rhyme very good did it?

I’ve been using the Mac version for a little over a year and the PC version since they released the beta. The Mac version is great. The PC version is good enough. I keep my 1Password database stored in Dropbox so all my info is synced between all my machines at all times. Very useful.

I use this app every day and I cannot recommend it highly enough! Dropbox sync with iPad & iPhone is straight money! Everyone should seriously give it try.

1Password + Dropbox = life-changing.
Matt Harrell says
I agree. Specifically you mean that you’re storing 1Password datafile in dropbox, right.

I can’t live without 1Password. Syncs between multiple machines and mobile devices. Works great on many different browsers. In fact, if 1Password doesn’t work with a browser, I’ll use another one where it does work.

I’ve been using it for over a year now. I use the mac version, the windows version, the iPod Touch app, and the Android app. And with Dropbox syncing, all of them use the same password keychain. It is an awesome app that I highly recommend. I can’t keep up with all of my passwords and logins without it.

I use LastPass, personally, as I was using that before 1Password had the PC version… Really like the ease of use with LastPass as all the data is in “the cloud”, although combining Dropbox with 1Password would almost achieve the same thing.

I’ve been using it on the iPhone and Mac for a while now and I love it! I got the iPhone version back when it was free and my roommate/one of your writers, Travis Fish gifted me the Mac one. Awesome software.

I use keepass. A little more manual set up and work, but hey, it’s free. =)

1Password is the best! And it’s not just because it’s a Canadian developed product. Once you enter your …1 … password… in your browser, you can hit Command + \ to input your password for whatever website you’re on. I get my banking done SO much faster this way, and I have extra security on the accounts, as 1Password creates encrypted passwords of 32 characters and such.
1Password Anywhere use in your Dropbox is great too. I don’t want my 1Password syncing on my work computer. But if I need something from 1Password, I can open the HTML version from Dropbox. It’s great.

I use it. Loving it. Seriously. Love how it generates passwords for you on the firefox browser.
