Last month, Tom McFarlin shared three of his favorite Coda plugins for WordPress development.
Since that’s just about all I do using Coda, I went and snatched them up right away!
I had always known Coda had some cool stuff to add-on, but never had taken the time to look for any that would be helpful. Here are two of the three he shared, that I’ve found to be really helpful:
1) WordPress Mode for Coda 2
After a few minutes of using this little gem, I wondered why the heck I hadn’t ever looked for something like this before! Like many selectors already in Coda, this produces a list of WordPress specific actions.
Very cool.
If you do much with WordPress, this is a must have! I love it!
2) White Out
This isn’t anything fancy, but it sure keeps your code nice and tidy!
I can’t stand extra spaces and other junk in code. With White Out running, it will remove all these nasty, unneeded spaces that can happen–especially if you’ve done some copy/paste–every time you save your document.
Slick.
More?
Tom mentioned one other that I didn’t try as I don’t need it, but I would be interested to hear about any others out there. So, if you’re a Coda user and know of some other cool and helpful add-ons, let us know in the comments below!
