Usually you’ll find us posting #EPIC Lord of the Rings themed LEGOS, but after seeing and watching this video from this years Brickworld 2013 Chicago, I had to share it with you!
Not only did they do an awesome job of basing their build off the movie–complete with black and white–but they’ve also built a moving tornado!
Too, cool.
Here is the Wizard of Oz LEGO-fied!

Now, show this to your kids and then go get the LEGOs!!!

Thanks so much for posting our Beyond The Brick video! I’m actually a big fan of Church Mag and have been following you guys for a while.
We’ve got a lot more interviews similar to this one all from Brickworld Chicago. Let me know if you’d be interested in taking a look at those once they’re posted. Thanks!

Hey there. I noticed you have a link to the LOTR Lego at the start of this article… Well, allow me to connect the dots for you sir. My name is Chris and I’m a member of the LUG (Lego Users Group) that did BOTH of these collaborative builds. We also did Alice in Wonderland in between these two builds. Our group is called VirtuaLUG and we’re an online based group who come together every year to display our creations at BrickWorld. We’re already hard at work on next year’s collaborative for the show (can’t tell ya what it is, it’s a surprise). Thanks for posting this write up on our group and our creations! If you have any questions feel free to email me or you can find me on mocpages.com (just type my name in the search bar). Thanks again! ~ Chris.
