Meet Christina Stephens. Her left foot and part of her leg were crushed in an injury, but that hasn’t stopped her from having fun and helping others. She uses YouTube to chronicle her experiences of living with a prosthetic leg and offer advice to those in similar situations.
In a recent video, she comes up with a creative use for LEGO and actually uses the plastic bricks to help her stand.
Brings a whole new meaning to stepping on a LEGO brick.
Christina describes in the video description where the inspiration for the LEGO leg came from.
“Someone in my research lab jokingly suggested I make a prosthetic leg out of legos. The joke’s on you – I went home and did it.”
