I would say I am surprised that Leviticus didn’t make the list, but given how they came about this data I can understand how it failed to make the list despite probably being one of the least read books of the Bible. It probably is looked up a lot on Biblegateway for brief passages on specific topics. So, although people are probably not READING it a lot, they probably are looking up a bunch of passages that can be found in Leviticus. I was a little surprised dear old Jonah made the list, but I guess people know the story so well they don’t feel the need to read it as much as other books.

Agreed. When it comes to reading the Bible from a casual perspective, I would TOTALLY read Jonah over Leviticus. 🙂
