I suppose it was only a matter of time, right?
Someone passed me this and I LOL’d pretty hard. But then I coveted it and wanted one.
Check it out:
You can purchase one starting at $650 a stand!
Get one here.
I think I’d go for the ‘Zebra’ texture.

It’s not a silly idea…
Once someone creates an App that displays both Slides & Notes. Combine that with Video out and all of a sudden Pastors can control their slides with a quick swipe, while viewing their notes & Bible.
But there is some corniness in there…

I love it. However, 2 things come to mind:
1. If i bought this stand, what would i do if i wanted to buy iPad 2.0 which is rumoured to be smaller? Wondering if i’d have to buy iPulpit 2.0 @ $650
2. if using this i a church lobby for registrations, etc.., what security feature does it include so no one pops out the iPad and runs out the door?!?
Just wondering, but I still love the concept and would buy one if I was the senior pastor.

i think it’s screwed in. take a close look at the pic.

1. yes, you would have to buy the version that fits your equipment
2. there is an optional security feature with an acrylic cover that goes over the edges of your iPad that is screwed in with security screws that can only be removed easily with a “key” screwdriver.

I like this – this might also work as a child check-in for kids or reservations for events. That would be cool!
