SlideShare is arguably the preferred site for hosting slide decks on the web.
Up until this point, there are no public API and much of the sharing and interaction with the system has been done via the web interface and embedding.
According to the team’s recent blog post, the API allows you to automate presentations, work with video, create mashups, and more.
