Ok, this is pretty cool! Georgia Tech Research scientist, Grant Schindler has worked out how to turn the iPhone into a 3D scanner using the iPhone 4 (or in fact any iDevice with a front facing camera!)

Thats right! According to the Yankee Group 27% of apps downloaded last year were paid apps.
I think that is pretty good news for the mobile development industry!

Former Apple employee, Pete Warden, and data visualization scientist, Alasdair Allan, seem to have uncovered a rather worrying “feature” on the iPhone iOS4 firmware.
The above map is a map of everywhere that one of their iPhones went with them since they upgraded to iOS4.
This file is stored, unencrypted, on their phone and any backup computers, including timestamps.
Is it just me that finds that kind of disturbing?

One of the main reasons that I bought my iPad was to make blogging easier on the go. At the moment it works fine for actually creating content, in fact I was sitting on an airplane just last night writing content for today. However that’s where it seems to stop, I tend to draft in Evernote and then leave images and other formatting till later on when I can get to my MacBook.
Could Blogsy make blogging directly from the iPad more legitimate?
