One thing not included in the post that tells you What You Need to Know About Tumblr: how big is Tumblr?
Even despite Tumblr’s acquisition by Yahoo!, the Internet’s reply has not been what some thought it would be originally. Traffic and user activity has hardly flinched and has the second highest revenue per visit behind Facebook.

Clearly, there’s a lot of people on Tumblr. The question that still remains, however, is how churches and ministries can tie into this. Certainly pornographers have been able to successfully use the platform, and that’s something that Christian Tumblr users should keep in mind as the navigate through it, so why not the Church?
As I’ve said before, I’ve tried to think how ChurchMag and churches could use Tumblr without it being a glorified RSS feed. I’ve got some ideas, but before I execute them for ChurchMag, I would love to hear from some active Tumblr users.
