speaking of getty – a warning to all, be very, very careful using any of their images without knowing exactly the usage and rights. I unknowingly broke some copyright rules, but you don’t get a cease and desist letter from them, you get an extortion letter. google “getty extortion” and you’ll see what I mean. It’s a large source of income for them, they lure you in with images sans watermark for your mockups or whatever. In turn they spend tons of resources looking for those images and then threatening lawsuit if you don’t pay a huge fee. It’s ugly.

Yep, I’m currently dealing with Getty as well. They’re a bunch of bullies to be sure. There’s an attorney that’s taken it upon himself to help out anyone who receives one of their demand letters:
