With technology moving away from desktop computing that I remember it to be over ten years ago when I was in college to what it has become today and mobile devices, online storage is constantly being put into the middle of the scene. It is not necessary to have a terabyte of data for your phone or tablet because you can download it from the cloud somewhere. In this article, we show off some of our favorite online storage platforms. Enjoy!
- Dropbox. Definitely. Google Drive is nice, but it doesn’t always (read: rarely) play well with iWork files, but Dropbox has never given me any issues. – Phil
- Dropbox, I’ve got 100GB free with Box but Dropbox is so much easier to access and works with mobile apps – Chris
- Dropbox. I’ve wanted to try others—cheaper or higher security—but the peripheral support is huge and the speed and sync has been top notch. – Eric
- I’m going against the grain here and pushing for Google Drive because of how integrated I am into the Google/Android ecosphere. – Jeremy
