A bit of time back, Apple took some heat for all of the rare and precious metals that it puts into its millions of phones and did not reportedly recycle them (it’s come out now that they do in fact have recycling initiatives and are looking to improve that all the time).
But why is it that Apple needs 75 different kinds of elements in their phones?
Isn’t it all just silicon and aluminum?
