It’s rare when something brings me so much simple child-like joy but this morning I saw something that was just amazing!
I don’t know if this is a case of hacking, disgruntled employee tinkering, some sort of weird strategy on Vogue’s behalf or just one epically glorious Easter Egg – either way the irony is rife!
Using the already legendary Konami code, go to vogue.co.uk and type: “up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A“. This will make a Velociraptor pop up form the bottom right of the screen and slide across the screen! AAAAND not just any old velociraptors! No – Velociraptors with hats! It gets better – keep pressing “A” to make more appear! Seeing as no-one knows if this will be up for long a screen-grabbed it all in action:

When you’re done with the childish giggles (I’m still smirking here) then you can see if you can answer me this: How, why, when!
- Is this a digital strategy by Vogue?
- If so why? It’s so off brand!!!
- If it’s a hack why has it not been removed yet?
- If it’s a hack – that’s a big security leak for a site as big as Vogue.
Whatever you think one thing cannot be denied:
Velociraptors on the front page of Vogue is truly epic!
