What prospective smartphone buyers may not consider, is what applications they’re going to be using.
Be sure to fully explore why you will be using a smartphone and what apps you plan on using.
In the end, you may end up spending more on apps than you originally thought.

Love this concept! Notified app adds an Android like notification system to your iPhone, but in true Apple style:

We’re glad to put the latest mobile technology in the hands of America’s future business leaders to help them increase cookie sales. For this generation of girls in particular, running a business and being able to take payments anywhere with mobile apps like GoPayment will become second nature. We’re eager to see how sales will increase now that they take credit cards with GoPayment.

News landed yesterday that Apple will have a subscription service in their Mac App Store for “all publishers of content based apps.”
Apple is using the same model it has for The Daily for those publishers — it will take 30 percent of subscriptions bought through the app store. If the publisher brings the subscriber to the app through its own Web site or by other means, the publisher then gets to take 100 percent.
