I’ve often heard it said,
What did we do before we had (fill-in the blank with latest technology)?
The same goes for smartphones.
Remember when the first iPhone was released? Remember how awesome it was? And it was so revolutionary and groundbreaking?
What happened?
Why wasn’t everyone happy to keep using their first iPhone?
Because Apple released the iPhone 2!
Rinse and repeat.
With the iPhone 5 tipped to be announced on 4th October, the good people over at CNET UK have created a rather cool and funky animated infographic. (We all love an infographic, so an animated one has got to be better right?!)
It’s actually more than just the history of the iPhone though, it covers basically the whole on modern communications!

Indeed, it is!
As far as e-Bibles go, this is the most organic experience I’ve encountered in electronic form.
The main reason I made the jump to the iPhone was due largely to the built in camera. People will say, “It only has 5 megapixels!” which is a useless measurement for camera quality. I loved my Droid X, but despite it’s 8 megapixels, it still was not a very good camera.
I didn’t want to carry my DSLR everywhere I went and also did not want to purchase a compact camera to take around with me. Having seen the great work photographers like Chase Jarvis would produce with their iPhone, I decided to get one.
A new standard is being set in the world of Church CMS’ (ChCMS). The demand of mobile apps is calling on ChMS systems to provide Church data for mobile use.
It makes a lot of sense. Having member data on-the-go is extremely helpful for ministers and leadership.
