I used to work at a video game store.
When customers were trying to decide which system to purchase, this is what I would tell them:
“Focus on the game library.”
I think the same can be said for smartphones and tablets. There are many apps that can be used on multiple devices–sometimes better and sometimes worse–but what can really separate the different OS’ are the exclusive apps. If you find that your favorite apps can only be found on a particular platform, that’s the direction you should probably go.
Take a look at how the number of apps compare from app store to app store:

There are two things that bring much joy AND frustration to our lives: technology and children. Thankfully, with so much choice out there, it is quite possible to use the one to spark the interest of the other. There are literally scores of useful Android apps for all ages, and with Google’s latest drive in education, the best is still yet to come.
It is my heartfelt belief that “Best of…” lists rarely satisfy everyone, so I’m putting these out there as forceful suggestions:

I have a birthday in February. I do Christmas, Easter and even Kwanzaa. In fact, I celebrate something 365 days of the year — and sometimes 366 — on a rolling basis.
I say all that to say this:
If you appreciate me, you can get me the Wikipad Gaming Tablet any day of the year, and I won’t complain it being given to me on non-special day.
Ever.
Thing is, I don’t even game a lot. Well, not outside games I review. But, how can one not when they see this device? It packs enough to be a good Android tablet on its own, with its 7-inch screen, buff Tegra 3 processor, front facing camera, expandable memory, HDMI functionality and onboard GPS.

If you use tech a lot then it can be easy to stuff up your sleep patterns, but if you attend a regular church service on Sunday mornings then keeping a regular sleeping pattern is vitally import (In my opinion it’s pretty important even if you don’t attend a Sunday morning service as having a regular waking up time is much better for you than rapid changes and regular lie ins but that’s up to you.)
Why does tech ruin your sleep pattern?

The app gap between Android and iOS has shrunken considerably in the last several years, but there’s nothing like some highfalutin’, high profile app that takes its sweet time coming to Android to inevitably cause the re-opening of feelings of neglect and loneliness amongst Android OS users. Remember how it felt to longingly look over the shoulder of the iPhone-wielding person sitting beside you on the train or plane and seeing Netflix? Flipboard? Instagram? They came to Android… eventually.
