Cyberbullying.
I hates it.
Considering so many of my friends and followers throughout social media are decent adults, I’m fairly insulated from seeing any kind of cyberbullying. I do, however, have some sort of an inkling as to just how ugly cyberbullying must be, by simply trolling through a few YouTube videos and reading the comments.
Cyberbullying is ugly.
Cyberbullying is real.

There is so much in the way of cyber bullying that I’m not sure we can completely control. However, as parents we can take a very active part in our children’s lives, not just in the everyday parenting, but in the way of online and social media usage. One of the ways I plan to help out when my son is allowed to go online is by creating his pages for him, knowing his passwords at all times, and being his friend and knowing who is friends are on social media accounts such as Facebook, etc. I know that I won’t always know what is going on with him but this is one of the ways I can be active in his life and ensure that if something is going on, I am one of the very first to see it and deal with it. I know as parents, especially when our kids become teenagers, we want to give them some space, but all too often I think we give them too much space and by the time things happen we are the last to know and sometimes something big, like suicide, etc. has already occurred.
