If you’re reading this post, I highly doubt you’re interested in ways to run an unsuccessful mobile email campaign.
Who wants to do that, right?
And don’t think, “It’s just a church newsletter” or “It’s just a ministry newsletter,” because the same principles that apply to online business communication applies, here. Just translate some of the terminology, like “shopping” for “donations,” while language like “call to action” remain the same.

There was a lot of good tips, here, but I think the biggest take-away I got from this was regarding mobile. While this infographic had a mobile email campaign focus, a good portion of what it had to say are concepts that can be applied to all platforms of email campaigns.
If you want a successful mobile email campaign, it’s going to take more than just a mobile design — you’re going to need content strategy.
