We all want to be God in our own little ways, right? I mean, we all still have that “I-like-stepping-on-ants-with-impunity” feeling on occasion, right?
Perhaps you can get your God-on with the iPhone App Game Babel Rising?
I played it the other night and found it to be a well-made app and it didn’t cost me anything, which is always a nice to have.
I’ve got some other thoughts as well though and check out the screens and vid after the jump:
One of the fascinating thing is how creative this game is and how it’s actually a compelling videogame based on a biblical story.
What’s even more interesting, perhaps, is that it appears the developing company is not Christian which would suggest to me that they are smart enough to find an entertaining biblical story and craft a compelling video game from it.
I think that’s pretty cool and I’m comfortable with a secular business leveraging the bible to make money; call it mercenary or whatever you’d like to call it but if it challenges people to think spiritually (and perhaps they’ll ask what “Babel” is) then I’m down with it.
Try it out and let me know what you think.

I have nothing to say about the game but “get your god on” has to be a phrase that is bound to make a re-emergence. Love it. 😉
