When was the last time you’ve changed your password?
Do you have the same password for multiple accounts?
In 2011, the number of data breaches in the United States increased by 67%! It seems like we may need to find a new way to make our websites, email and online accounts more secure.

I commend Google for trying to beef-up their password system, but it seems like we’re missing something.
Maybe we this needs to be reinvented and built from scratch?

No, I haven’t. I’ve heard a lot of good things about 1Password, though.

LastPass is great, but the only “problem” I find is that if someone were to crack the LP password, they’ve just received all the keys to your kingdom, regardless of how secure the other passwords were.

Josh, you are right, but you just need to make sure that does not happen. And In truth it is significantly easier to protect this one password than trying to manage multiple passwords, say on a spreadsheet, or in G docs, or with some cipher system.
